Imagine a situation where you are going to meet a much awaited friend of yours after a long time. What is normally expected at these situations? Hmm… May be a “Hi, How are you?” or at least a “Hi”. You won’t believe what I said, “Were you walking behind me all the time?” Was that even necessary? Ahhhh… And as soon as I said that I kicked myself. But it was too late, the damage was already done. So even if your iffy for a jiffy, you better shut the heck up, or you are bound to blurt out something that you will regret for the rest of your life.
I thought I was the only person to tell inappropriate and absolutely unnecessary things at the most important situations. But, here is one more example.
So, I come to my friend’s place, after almost three to four hours of being a pillion rider in a bike. Completely exhausted. And the first thing she asks me is “What’s wrong with your hair?” I know I looked perfect for those ads where people get shocked and their hair stands up straight, but still, that was not the question that I was expecting :) . In those three to four hours, I never looked at myself in the mirror, why? Because I knew I would be looking like that :D still, it isn’t right to ask that first right? That question could have waited till after “How was your day?”
And of all the people, my mom shocked me a lot when she asked me the same question. So, I came home, with my hair still looking horrible, but I also had cold and a high fever to match that. And she had also made me wait for an hour on the door step when I had fever and I was shivering by the time she came home. Still, the first thing she asked was about my hair. Can you believe that?
Anyways, I guess people do care about hair than people themselves. ;) Still, it will be nice to tell proper things at the proper time. In short, we have to express ourselves properly rather than messing up the whole thing.
Haven’t we all experienced these kinds of situations at one point or another? Ponder over it.
Till then, Take care. Bye
