About Me

My photo
Hmmm... Some people called me funny, Some called me crazy, Some people even called me fickle, instinctive and impulsive, They tried to call me a volcano too... Some said I cannot be boring, Some said I talk wayyyyy too much, Some said I belong to a silent world, But I am Wt I am... Whether a volcano or a goffy gal... So its hard to tell wt i am... u should figure it out by yourself...

Digging for survival

Hmmm... You cannot exactly call it digging for survival but it was digging for saving our prized articles. To explain it better let me tell you what happened…

A few days back it was raining heavily. First it was wonderful to watch, then it became too fierce, then water started filling in front of our house. That’s not uncommon actually but this time there was a small glitch – the drainage system was blocked. It is filled with mud from the park which is in front of our house. It was never removed by the Mysore municipal co-operation, even when we requested them to remove it.

I guess you can pretty much imagine the situation - right? Anyways back to the story – Me and my brother were standing and watching the raising level of water, feeling scared that the water might come inside. And to add to our problems even the park started to overflow which also is not uncommon. But this time there was no place for that water to go, so guess what? Even that water started to come towards our house. Now the water level really started to rise, we had no idea (Till then) how to prevent the mini Tsunami. We even tried calling the MNC but no response. So it was upto us to do something. This is when we had a brain wave; we thought we would clear the drainage system so that to some extent the level of the water could come down.

So in the heavy rain, we started towards the drainage system with spades. Started making path for the rain water and the park water to go in. It almost took us half an hour in the rain to do it. We were SUCCESSFUL. Atlast the water was directed elsewhere.

Happy with ourselves and our work we came in saying AACHU!!!
